2/21 Service Advisory

Classes are cancelled at 1 p.m. today. On Park & Ride, one bus will continue to run after 2 p.m. on the "B" schedule as long as possible, but will end at the discretion of the service provider.

General Information

The Park & Ride Express connects the West Campus Park & Ride lot at Clinton Parkway and Iowa Street and West Campus with the Main Campus of KU. The free fare bus service is available to everyone — students, faculty, staff and visitors — not just those who hold a Park & Ride permit.

The Park & Ride Express features new buses which are easily accessible to persons with disabilities, including those using wheelchairs. The service allows persons to board on West Campus or Main Campus at designated stops. The stops, shown on the route map, are marked by distinctive Park & Ride Express signs (see right). These express buses do not make any other stops and are not intended to serve residence halls.

Stop 7 (Nichols Hall) Back to Normal!

Now that there is new pavement in the turn-around, Park & Ride Express stop #7, located near Nichols Hall, has moved back to its permanent location in the turn-around. Thanks for your patience while we waited for this repair to be completed!

K-10 Connector

A shuttle service between Johnson County Community College, the KU Edwards Campus and the KU Lawrence Campus, with stops at Haskell Indian Nations University, is in operation. For more information, schedules and a route map, please visit The JO online. Faculty, staff and students with any valid KU parking permit may park at Park & Ride through July 31, 2007.

Coordination Study

Following a joint study to explore the feasiblity of coordination and/or consolidation of transit services provided by the University of Kansas and the City of Lawrence, we've received the reports which may be found on the Lawrence Transit website.
